The Estate

The estate was custom built by LA woman's Hot Cotton fashion designer, Marc Ware. Marc purchased the property in the early 2000's from the Maybelline Family. The plans and permit process took about two years and construction over 2 years and was completed in 2009.

The architect was Don Boss who was an understudy to A. Quincy Jones, who was the lead architect at Sunnylands for the famous Annenberg Estate in Ranch Mirage.

The native gardens and grounds were designed by the nationally acclaimed landscape architect Steve Martino.

The Cashman's purchased the estate in May 2016 and have lived in Palm Springs part time since 2000 but were first introduced to Palm Springs in March 1975! This is their 3rd home here and now their primary residence starting in 2022!

The main house is approximately 6,000 square feet and there two separate casitas for another 2,000 square feet on about 1 1/2 acres. There are 7 negative-edge pools that surround the home.

Most of the furniture was designed by Bonnie and custom built in LA specially for each room. All the artworks came from the Cashman's previous homes in Palm Springs or from their Seattle condo. Some of the glass art was some of the first produced by the world-famous Dale Chihuly in the early 1970's and special glass ice cubes by the world-renowned sculptor, Joeseph McDonnell!
